On a mountain bike that is.

We are on spring break this week.  Scott and I decided (last minute) to take the kiddos to Fruita for a little warmer weather and mountain biking.  The weather was a bit warmer and the biking was AWESOME! The kids did amazing and I did great riding around behind them.  They got faster that me.  All of them.  It is fantastic to see them ride without fear or hesitation.  So, it is a good problem to have, them being faster than me.  But it is a problem for them…because they are always waiting on me now!  We are home now, enjoying one more quiet weekend.

The honor of being one of five fifth grade students from his elementary school to hand out scholarships to the graduating class of 2018. He did a great job and definitely made his school proud!

Sam was also chosen for this when he was in 5th grade. It’s a really amazing event where over 450k is awarded the graduating seniors in the form of college scholarships. I got a bit teary eyed knowing that my biggest will be here in 2 short years…
