While my big boys are out ski racing in the backcountry, hopefully avoiding avalanches (kidding, no avalanches!) and snow snakes, I am at home with the other three.  I have been getting over some weird stomach bug and haven’t felt like doing much of anything.  Today, after many episodes of some British baking show, I shooed Alice and Mason out on a walk with the dogs and Paige and I headed up to Rainbow Lake.  We were in some serious need of fresh air!  Of course, I had to haul the camera along….

It sure did feel a lot like spring today.

You know, the best talks happen when we are hiking.  Always happy when I get some time with my girl.

Looking forward to the leaves on the trees but these aspens are pretty amazing still.
