We have had a great week.  Tuesday, I went with Paige’s class to the pumpkin farm.  The weather was really crummy but we had a fun time anyway.  It was probably the first rainy, cold day this fall.  Our fall has been tremendous with warm and sunny days.  Scott’s parents arrived on Wednesday night and will be staying with us for two weeks.  Thursday, Sam, Alice and Paige had their cross country awards ceremony and then in the evening Alice performed in the 2nd grade program at school.  The program this year was titled Africaan Musiek.  They sang songs from all around Africa and played some really cool drums.  Today, the kids are off of school for a Teacher Work Day.  Not sure what is in store for us….

2 days and counting until the big day.  Marathon day.  I am hoping to run a couple miles today just to stay stretched out.  Looking forward to a fun weekend with Scott and maybe a little pain 🙂  I hope you all have a great weekend!!
